Artist Love Wednesday

I think I am going to highlight a paper artist every Wednesday here. Today being the first, I'll kick it off with 3. Enjoy!

Fun paper constructions by Matthew Sporzynski. You can see more of his work over at Real Simple.

Fantastic cardboard sculptures by Chris Gilmour

Last but not least, the gorgeous paper installations by Chris Natrop

All photos from the artist websites.

I've enjoyed Mr Sporzynski's work for quite some time via the mag. Thanks for sharing the others. I'm gonna have to show this to my pal Fog and Thistle!

umm I love this idea.

I have to mention that I went to an exhibit a few months ago in NYC at the Japan Society museum and there were many many many amazing pieces of paper art there. This man made a replica of his Brooklyn studio entirely out of paper.... it was RIDICULOUS. The walls, ceiling, his MacBook, paintbrushes and everything were made out of paper. It looked exactly as it should, only when looking closer, you realized it was paper.

Hooray. Happy Wednesday.

These are amazing. It's so neat to see things rendered in paper you'd never imagine in that form.
